Exotic Extracts was born in our home kitchen in 2008 when we made our first batch of pure vanilla bean extract. 

We soon discovered the amazing difference between the vanilla essence we had used for years and the vanilla bean extract we had created and there was no way we were ever going back!

Our goal since then has been to produce a gourmet quality pure vanilla bean extract and make it available locally so that home cooks like us, can enjoy the Exotic Extracts difference.

Our vanilla bean extract is crafted using high quality triple distilled alcohol and fresh, juicy vanilla beans...that’s all.  No added sugar.  No added water.  No added preservatives.

There is absolutely no comparison in flavour. To see those little black seeds in a smooth crème anglaise or a homemade vanilla ice cream is really something special!

We also sell vacuum packed fresh vanilla beans and vanilla sugar and are testing a couple of other exciting products at the moment.
